OPEC Systems is a privately owned Australian company first established in Sydney in 1992 and acquired by the current owners in 2001. OPEC has over 20 years’ of industry experience encompassing a diverse range of product and service delivery, ranging from Contaminated Site Remediation, Spill Control and Fuel Systems to Disaster Management Equipment, Maintenance, Storage and Commercial Diving.

OPEC is a matrix organisation with six separate but inter-related and overlapping core business divisions. Products and services offered by the Defence division include:

Nathan Parsons joined OPEC as Business Development Manager for Defence in January 2012. Prior to joining OPEC he spent five years working for the Federal Public Service, primarily with the DoD. Nathan occupied a number of roles within DMO Finance and Marine System Division, then finally with Force Command G4 Branch. He also served in uniform as an Officer in the Royal Australian Navy for six years which he left in 2006. Nathan is available to discuss your CBRN and shelter requirements.

Peter Murphy is the MD, founding member and joint owner of OPEC Systems and has over 25 years' experience in the environmental engineering and consulting industry. Peter has led a number of complex projects for State/Federal Government agencies including the search and destruction of WWII chemical weapons in strategic sites throughout Australia, in collaboration with Milsearch.
